There are two options to set up an LED wall: Ground support stands and Hanging the screens.
Each option has benefits in different environments. Ground support stands don’t require any rigging, however, the screen has a limited height. This option is typically used for Jumbotron styled screens and large floor mounted screens. Flown screens are typically faster to set up, however are dependent on the attachment points above the screen. An LED screens power requirements depend on the size of the screen. A small screen will use at least two separate power circuits. Nextgen can provide all the power distribution required for any size LED screen, have a chat with our team for any further information!
The resolution of an LED screen depends on it size. A quick calculation for resolution is the length (mm) divided by the pixel pitch and the height (mm) divided by the pixel pitch.
An LED screen has to be run off an LED processor. The processor will take a picture from a video signal and convert it into the correct resolution for the panels. NextgenAV stocks processes to drive up to 8k LED screens.
